"I tend to agree. we should be electing the best candidates without much consideration of party affiliation, but I have to wonder why a candidate would become affiliated with a party that is in favor of spying on American citizens' phone calls and emails and which would drive us into deep debt while giving tax cuts to the very richest and building bridges to nowhere in Alaska while New Orleans remains unrepaired.If it is true that Rose changed parties only because Judge Hinojosa tried to change the law of Texas to cheat her husband out of a case and, when the rest of the court would not go along, Judge Hinojosa decided to sit on the case until the end of time without ruling on it, that is a motive which would answer some questions for me. But as far as joining up with the Republican party at this time with all the front-page scandals of stealing money from the American Indian tribes, I don't understand that unless there is a motive like Rose's.
